IMO pours cash into energy-efficiency fight
A two-year project aimed at accelerating the uptake of energy-efficient measures for shipping is being part funded by the IMO. In conjunction with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Global Environment Facility; the IMO will give $2 million to the Global Maritime Energy Efficiency Partnership project – or GloMEEP for short.
