$12.5m Danish-led e-Navigation project gets underway
The EU has approved a DKK 85 million (approximately $12.5 million) Danish-led maritime innovation project, intended to enhance safety of navigation and increase efficiency at sea. 

IMO adopts environmental regulations on navigation in polar waters
United Nations’ International Maritime Organization (IMO) has adopted the environmental part of the Polar Code. Hereby, internationally binding regulations on navigation in polar waters become effective from 1 January 2017.
